The Practice Pal Learners app has just had a major upgrade, with lots of great new features. We’re making it easier for learners to see and join upcoming practice sessions and online lessons. We also have made the app more user friendly with profiles, giving learners a place to log in and see their own progress without any distractions.

If you’ve been using the Practice pal learners app for a while you’ll notice there’s a new way to log in. We’ve broken down the process for you to help you get used to, and make the most of this improvement of the app!

NEW: Create a learner profile

When you open the updated app for the first time after updating it, you will see a new screen giving you the option to log in as a guardian or a learner. If you log in as a guardian you will have access to all the learner profiles on your account. But we’ve also brought out learner logins. This feature gives learners more ownership over their learning experience in a fun and  easy to use way.

• When you tap learner login you will see a screen asking for username and password
• If you haven’t used this version of the app before you’ll need to hit Set up your learner profile 
• You’ll need to enter your passcode. This is the code you normally use to log in to the app.
• Once you’ve logged in with the passcode, you’ll be able to set up the learner profile. Follow the screens to add a username, and a password. If the learner has an email address they can also add that as their username, but this is optional.

We’re working hard to add more features to the learner app, including letting learners view their own practice and lesson notes as well video clips directly in the app. We can’t wait to show you more of what we’ve been up to.
